Anger is a tricky emotion for most of us in the modern day and age. Often, we have been taught that we are not supposed to express any anger and to repress it, or we have learned that actually any expression of anger has to be out of control. Our past experiences with anger can in fact cause us to react more strongly than we may want to.

Working with a therapist can help us to put in place a more cognitive understanding of our anger and more cognitive way of responding to our anger as opposed to reacting against it.
